La Quercia di Racciano

Valido Capodarca—author of books on monumental trees in Italy—remembers the lost Quercia di Racciano (“Oak of Racciano”) on the social media pages for tree enthusiasts “Amici degli alberi” (“Friends of the trees”) and “Amanti degli alberi monumentali” (“Lovers of monumental trees”). Teresio named his winemaking venture after the centuries-old tree that stood on the estate he had purchased in San Gimignano in the 1960s.
